AMI Market Readiness Assessment

This study gauges the readiness of the market for “smart" meeting features and tools, such as AMI technology integration could provide.  More precisely, this study measures if customers of existing meeting products and services would find AMI-based enhancements valuable.

The study uses two data gathering methods: a short web survey and a small sub-sample of those who complete the web survey will conduct a 15-20 minute interview.

Who should participate

We want to hear the opinions of people who purchase and manage technologies designed to increase/improve productivity of employees, especially people who rely heavily on business meetings to achieve their goals. These include the buyers/managers of products and services offered by AMI Community of Interest member companies.

How to participate

The self-administered portion of the study takes less than 15 minutes. There are two parts.

First, view a short (5 minute) video in the window below. The video depicts how people in a small architectural firm with a very time-constrained project for an important client can use AMI technologies.

In the scenario, the AMI technologies permit a person arriving late to catch up with the meeting in progress. Between meetings, the architect and the apprentices review different aspects of the meeting to make sure they didn't miss anything. Of course, you are also invited to learn more about AMI Consortium research by  browsing our web site at your leisure.

After watching the video, go to the survey and spend approximately 8 minutes answering the questions. There are four parts to the survey:

Part A to profile the company

Part B to obtain your impressions of the Between Meeting features AMI enables

Part C to obtain your impressions of the During Meeting features AMI enables

Part D to capture your name and contact information if you would like to follow up with an optional interview or a briefing about AMI technologies.
