Alexandre BITTAR

Short Biography

I am a research assistant at Idiap Research Institute and part of the Neural Architectures for Speech Technology (NAST) project under Dr. Philip N. Garner's supervision.

My research focuses on physiological models of speech prosody, with the use of deep learning methods, spiking neural networks and Bayesian techniques. The main objective is to generalise neural modelling to more closely mimic biological systems.

Professional Experience

  • 2019-2020: R&D intern at NomadPlay working on audio source separation using deep learning approaches.
