Trip planning
Advices and links for planning the trip to UNIS (England) from Norman Poh
TRANSPORT
If you come from London, there is a direct train to Guildford. But if you come from London Heathrow airports, you have to take National Express (http://www.nationalexpress.com/) to Woking and then take a train from there to Guildford. Then, take a taxi to your hotel. It takes about 10 minutes from the train station to walk to the University of Surrey. You can also use the following info: http://www.transportdirect.info. Key in GU2 7XH as destination.
ACCOMODATION
For our meeting at Surrey, we recommend two hotels here:
- Trave lodge (http://www.travelodge.co.uk/search_and_book/hotel_overview.php?hotel_id=287&gclid=CIGwjM3A6ZQCFRsWEAodx3tcSg)
- Holiday Inn
It takes roughly 10 minutes from both hotels to the CVSSP, which is found here:

If you are staying in the Holiday Inn, you can walk to the CVSSP (university of Surrey) following this route: http://www.multimap.com/directions/?qs_1=GU2+7XZ&countryCode_1=GB&qs_2=gu2+7xh&countryCode_2=GB&mode=walking&mapData=902#map=51.24064,-0.59449|16|4
It the above link does not work, key in the postcode of source and destination. For UniS, the postcode is GU2 7XH.
