With HandArtist, your hand becomes an invisible paintbrush, transforming your movements into a unique digital artwork created in real time.

From speech recognition and image analysis to assistive robotics and creative applications, Idiap develops AI technologies that open up new ways of interacting with machines. With HandArtist, AI becomes a creative partner, turning simple movements into surprising and original visual creations.

During the fair, visitors will be able to bring their imagination to life through their movements, then print their artwork and take home a unique, personalized souvenir of the experience. They will also have the opportunity to meet Idiap researchers and collaborators, and discover the latest advances in AI.
