Founded on the humanist vision of Angelo Dalle Molle, Idiap has been at the forefront of AI research for over 30 years.
At the heart of his vision was the belief that AI should benefit society, driven by values of inclusivity, ethics, and human welfare. Today, we continue to pursue scientific excellence while addressing real societal needs — from health and sustainability to inclusion and responsible AI development.

Advancing research with high societal impact, including
- Human Health – cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, mental health, elderly care, personalized medicine, immunotherapy, eye disease
