  • Postdoctoral position in deep learning for gaze estimation
  • Context: Within the context of the project REGENN, the main goal is to apply deep learning and machine learning techniques (eg adaptation) for gaze estimation in the 3D space (see G3E project). The project involves the tech company Eyeware (Eyeware). The candidate is expected to research and publish the developed methods.

    Position: The position is for one year, with possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availabilities, esp. in the context of the MuMMER European project (MuMMER).

    The ideal postdoctoral candidate has a PhD in computer vision and/or machine learning. He/she should have a good background in applied mathematics and statistics. Excellent software and programming skills in C/C++ and Python are expected. Hands-on experience with deep learning techniques are a plus.

    Annual gross salary is 80,000. The starting date is as soon as possible.

  • Postdoctoral position in pose estimation or tracking for Human-Robot Interaction
  • Context: MuMMER European project (MuMMER)

    Position: The goal is to design deep learning algorithms for 3D pose estimation and interaction analysis in HRI applications, using both RGB and Depth video streams. Other tasks (multi-person tracking and Re-identification) might be considered as well, based on candidates expertise. The postdoc will join a team of 3PhD students and 1 engineer working on the project.

    The ideal postdoctoral candidate has a PhD in computer vision and/or machine learning. He/she should have a good background in applied mathematics and statistics. Excellent software and programming skills in C/C++ and Python are expected. Hands-on experience with deep learning techniques are a plus.
