I am a research assistant in Idiap Research Institute and a PhD student of electrical engineering at EPFL. I received my M.Sc degree in information technology engineering (networked systems) from Sharif University of Technology in 2016, and my B.Sc degree in computer software engineering from University of Isfahan in 2014. My academic research interest lies broadly in the fields of data mining and machine learning. More specifically, I am interested in applications of machine learning to solve data-driven problems in various inter-disciplinary domains, such as social computing, computational privacy, and big-data analytics.
