I'm a PhD student at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and a Research Assistant in Social Computing Group at Idiap Research Institute advised by Prof. Daniel Gatica-Perez. I'm interested and experienced in using Data Science and Analytics, Machine Learning for research in Ubiquitous & Mobile Computing. Currenty, I am part of the large scale EU-funded project "WeNet - The Internet of US" and my research revolves around "Diversity-Aware Machine Learning for Rich Mobile Data of Individuals".

Before starting my PhD, I worked as a Research Engineer at Ubiquitous & Mobile Computing Group in Singapore Management University, Singapore under the supervision of Prof. Archan Misra. I got my BSc Engineering degree (Computer Science and Engineering) from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
