The candidate will have the mission to develop, improve, and extend multiple administrative applications, and to build gateways between systems, databases, and documentation. Responsibilities will also include the maintenance and extension of our web applications, as well as software quality control.
Idiap Research Institute is an internationally renowned independent research institute active in multiple areas of Artificial Intelligence for Society for 30 years.
To support the growth of the institute, and to consolidate its IT applications and services to our researchers, Idiap is opening a position for a full stack web development engineer (f/m).
- EPF/HES degree in computer science (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in exploiting/developing RESTful web services
- Expertise in Python and PHP
- Good knowledge with SQL (postgres/mariadb)
- Demonstrated experience in designing and developing stable and systems
- Creative, open-minded
- Fluent in French and English with good communication skills
- Good knowledge of Linux
- Experience with Django and Symfony frameworks
- Experience with Angular, React.js or other modern web frameworks
- Knowledge of Odoo environment
