Short Biography

My name is Shakeel Ahmad Sheikh and I belong to one of the most beautiful valleys on earth known as Kashmir. Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral research scientist on ChaSpeePro project with Prof Ina Kodrasi at IDIAP (EPFL) Research Lab , Swizterland. Before that, I was a postdoctoral research scientist with Prof Dr. Yaochu Jin at CITEC Research Institute, University of Bielfeld, Germany. I was working on Eloquent Brain Cortex Tumor Detection Using Graph Neural Networks. I completed my doctoral (PhD) studies in the MULTISPEECH Team of LORIA-INRIA, with thesis "Identifying Disfluency in Speakers with Stuttering, and its Rehabilitation, using Deep Learning" under the supervision of Prof Dr. Slim Ouni and Dr. Md Sahidullah at the Department of Informatics and Mathematics, Faculty of Sciences, Université De Lorraine, Nancy, France.
