I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Idiap Research Institute, affiliated with the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). My main research areas are face verification, face detection and computer vision.

I am working under the supervision of Sebastien Marcel

and am currently co-supervising Cosmin Atanasoaei (PhD student).

My current work is on examining different ways to model session variability for face authentication. In particular I am interested in applying joint factor analysis (JFA) to face authentication and in extending probabilistic linear discriminant analysis (PLDA).

I have previously worked on 2D and 3D face recognition and assessing the vulnerabilities of face recognition systems. An overview of some of my past work can be found in the Publications link.
