People Tracking

Multiple object tracking (MOT) in video is one of the fundamental research topics in dynamic scene analysis . While fairly good solutions to the tracking of isolated objects or small number of objects having transient occlusion have been proposed in the past, MOT remains challenging with higher densities of people, mainly due to inter-person occlusion, bad observation viewpoints, small resolution images, entering/leaving of people, etc. These situations are often encountered in the visual surveillance domain.
