Student visit from the University of Zurich

Thursday, November 20 and Friday, November 21, 2014
The Idiap Research Institute will host the visit of a group of twenty bachelor and master students in computational linguistics from the University of Zurich. Entitled << Theorie und Praxis der Computerlinguistik am Beispiel des Idiap Research Institute >>, this event will enable the students and their supervisors to learn about the research carried out at Idiap on speech and language processing, along with technology transfer activities. The visit will include presentations about research projects, as well as related spin-offs, and will be complemented by a visit to the Grand Conseil in Sion to learn more about the MediaParl and "Parlement sans papier" projects.

 

All members of Idiap are welcome to attend the talks in room 106.
