I am a partial time Post-doc at Idiap Research Institute, working with Prof. Daniel Gatica-Perez in the Social Computing research group. I obtained my PhD from EPFL (Ecole Politechnique Federale de Lausanne) in 2013. Graduated with a Master of Computer Science from Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education at Ensenada (CICESE), Baja California, in Mexico.

My research interests are social computing, machine learning, and human activity modeling.

I am currently working on analyzing behavioral longitudinal data of elderly living at home as part of the SWISKO project. SWISKO aims to build an e-health service for elderly living at home, combining wearable devices with the existing DomoSafety ambient sensor system.
